2. Breathing-space
These boys are; Paddy Kearney on Vocals, Nick Kelly and Dale Sheperd on Guitar, James Henderson on Drums and Chris Lowe playing Bass. They like to play a bit of hardcore metal and there latest song, ‘My End Scene’ can be heard via the link.
3. Costello
Local lads, Jamie Coleman and Anthony Camm say their music is influenced by the likes of The Jam and The Clash, and you know what? I have to agree. Don’t get me wrong, they do have their own style too – so why not check them out?
4. Elcho
Elcho are; Gaz – Guitar, Chris on bass and Rick on drums. These guys don’t claim to be influenced by anyone in particular but do say that they like “anything with guitars, good melodies and plenty of balls.”
5. Tipitina
Tiptina are a bit of blues, gospel and jazz all rolled into one and are a bit of fresh air on the music front. Well, how many jazz bands do you know today?  They consist of Justin Randall, Debbie Jones and Gary Barber and are sometimes joined by Andy Jones, John Battrum and Tom Hill.
6. Boogie Bill Roberts
Bill Roberts is as old school as you can get! With influences like Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis and BB King we know that if you like jazz, then baby you will sure like Boogie Bill Roberts.
7. Sly Kid
Sly Kid is all about repping and maybe for the, erm, younger generation but if you want to get ‘down’ and listen to what some of Chorley are currently listening to, why not give him a go?
8. Vencidos
“Chilli con Carnage.” Is how the band describes themselves on MySpace. Vencidos like to play a bitof Latin and soul based music with a bit of Spanish and English influence thrown in.
9. Elias last day
This hardcore band formed in 2004 and are currently recording their first full length CD   They’re also hoping to do an extensive tour this year of the UK, so keep your eyes and ears open!
10. Anthony Hill
Anthony’s love of music started when he was just a wee nipper when his parents’ bought him a cassette recorder (oh, remember them?!). From that moment on, music was his and life, and now all ‘grown up’ it kinda shows. His lyrics are fresh and …….well, why don’t you see for yourself?
11. The Incidentals
Quite surprisingly, this band only formed in September ’08. Yet, after jumping on the tour circuit in the North West their rock and indie sounds are becoming quite well known.
12. Pencil In
They describe themselves as, ‘a torrential downpour of truth’ and say they’d give new band Glasvegas a good run for their money. Want to find out if they are? Well, fear not my Prestonian friends, Pencil In will be touring v. soon.
13. Ocean Bend
Indie rock band, Ocean Bend, have been on the music scene since 2007. Their most recent self-made album, Everyday Life, is available now.

14.Y’r Impossible
This electro pop  group are; Stevie Guy on vocals, Fil Hamilton playing guitar, Adrian Townsend on drums and Rob Lindsay on bass. These guys really pack a punch and own the stage wherever they play.
15.Bingo Bay
